NASA will host a media teleconference Monday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. EDT, to announce the lunar landing internet site for the agencys Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER). The rover will be shipped to the Moons area in late 2023 less than the Artemis program and component of the agencys Industrial Lunar Payload Products and services initiative.


VIPER is the first useful resource-mapping mission on the surface area of an additional celestial body.
