Summer season is coming faster than you consider and now there is a have to-go-to beach front in Connecticut that designed Journey + Leisure’s “Ideal Seashores in the U.S.” checklist.
The record named 25 beaches all over the place, and Ocean Seashore Park in New London came in at number 24. “This 50 %-mile, golden-sand beach with mild tides gives terrific sights of ferries and schooners sailing past the New London lighthouse,” the write-up describes.
According to Vacation + Leisure, the excellent seaside requires fantastic sand, waves, stage of seclusion, public transportation, parking, a boardwalk, activities and shaded trees. Ocean Seaside Park options a picnic region, playground, snack bar, an arcade, mini golfing and is positioned together the boardwalk.
It may perhaps be the only Connecticut beach front on this checklist, but it is definitely not the only just one in the state. Hammonasset Beach Point out Park in Madison opens up in May perhaps whilst Lighthouse Level Park in New Haven has been open due to the fact April for the year.
